Embodied Practice
Amelia Thomas
Amelia is a transformational yoga instructor, breathwork facilitator, feminine embodiment guide, and the Creative Director for Terra Nova. With passions in every aspect of holistic medicine, Amelia focuses her energy on utilizing a 'movement as medicine' strategy. By combining various forms of movement through yoga, bodyweight exercises, stretching, and breathing, this 'movement as medicine' process creates an opportunity for moving energy through the body, to establish a sense of peace and motivation, while activating your whole being.

As she walks the path toward her doctorate in 2026, she immerses herself in the mysteries of the subconscious, the body's emotional landscapes, and the teachings of Vis Medicatrix Naturae — the healing power of nature. Her Reiki sessions weave somatic and embodiment practices through energetic layers, grounding the ethereal into tangible shifts that ripple gently through daily life.

Christian Powell
Christian brings the perspective of an entrepreneur and technologist to building community. With a background in mechanical engineering and a career founding companies at the intersection of technology and human experience, he approaches wellness as a practice of integration — where intention, environment, and action come together to support a life well lived. Through Terra Nova, he helps create grounded containers for connection: events where practitioners, artists, and seekers gather to share their craft and pursue more intentional living.
